11 Postdoctoral Researcher Positions Open in the EU-Funded IMMUFELLOW Training Programme
The second call for applications to the IMMUFELLOW Postdoctoral Fellowship Programme has now opened. A total of 11 positions are available for international postdoctoral researchers at the University of Turku and Åbo Akademi University to work on research projects in the field of immunology.
The programme will recruit a total of 22 international researchers between 2025 and 2030, the first 11 of whom were selected during the initial recruitment round last spring. The current second call offers 11 three-year positions. Nine of these positions are based at the University of Turku and two at Åbo Akademi University.
Within the IMMUFELLOW programme, selected researchers will carry out their own innovative immunology research projects that align with the research profiles of the host research groups at either the University of Turku or Åbo Akademi University. Projects may focus on areas such as fundamental immunological research, clinical research, diagnostics, drug development, health economics, or health technology. IMMUFELLOW researchers will become part of Turku’s vibrant and extensive immunology research community, which includes numerous clinical and industrial partners.
IMMUFELLOW (Interdisciplinary and Intersectoral Research Fellowship Programme for Future Leaders in Immunology) is a Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions (MSCA) COFUND training programme co-funded by the European Union with 3,72 million euros.
